The city of Dixon, IL has opted to allow golf and utility cars to be street legal. Many Dixon residents own and rent golf cars for this, and other uses such as golfing, camping, hunting and other special occasion uses on private lands.

Our service extends to Dixon, IL and beyond. We provide sales of new and used golf carts, and service all brands. We can pick up and deliver to Dixon, and provide rentals of golf cars as well.

“10-17-3: REGULATION OF NON-HIGHWAY VEHICLES:

   (A)   Non-highway vehicles shall be permitted to operate only between the hours of six o’clock (6:00) A.M. and eleven o’clock (11:00) P.M. each day. (Ord. 3089, 4-2-2018)
   (B)   All non-highway vehicles shall be operated only on streets where the posted speed limit is thirty five (35) miles per hour or less. The foregoing provision shall not prohibit a non-highway vehicle from crossing a road or street at an intersection where the road or street has a posted speed limit of more than thirty five (35) miles per hour.    (C)   A person may not operate a non-highway vehicle upon any street, highway, or roadway unless he or she: 1) is eighteen (18) years of age or older; and 2) has a valid driver’s license issued in his or her name by the Illinois Secretary of State or such other applicable foreign jurisdiction.
