The city of Lincoln, IL has opted to allow golf and utility cars to be street legal. Many Lincoln residents own and rent golf cars for this, and other uses such as golfing, camping, hunting and other special occasion uses on private lands.

The 18 Hole Lincoln Elks Course in Lincoln, IL is a semi-private course that has been open since 1904. The course measures 6,200 yards from the longest tee and features numerous tees that appeal to the veteran golfer as well as the beginner. The course also offers “Logan County Mondays” which opens up the course to all Logan County residence every Monday.
